Background
South African Twirling Baton Sports Association (SATBSA) is a non-profit organization that aims to develop the sport of baton twirling in South Africa. The organization was established by members who previously participated in the sport as athletes, on the 10th of November 2017. The organization, therefore, aims to reintegrate baton twirling into the South African pool of available sporting codes and ultimately make baton twirling a sport of choice for most athletes in the country.
